In his latest BBC interview, Atif Aslam has opened up about working with Shah Rukh Khan, Mahira Khan, and Sajal Aly.

When questioned by host Haroon Shahid why he refused to sing Gerua in Shah Rukh Khan’s blockbuster Dilwale, the Bol actor openly admitted that he had met the Raees hero and thought he was a great man.

When the Zero actor’s crew contacted him and even recorded the song and gave it to them, he was startled to hear Shah Rukh state that Atif was too busy to sing a song for him. He stated that he could never be too busy to sing for the Don star in the future.

Atif added that he just encountered Mahira, with whom he made his acting debut in Bol, and the Humsafar diva hinted at a possible reunion.

He also added that their fans might see them in a music video together towards the end of the year.

While commenting about his Rafta Rafta co-star Sajal Aly, the Woh Lamhe singer remarked that the Yeh Dil Mera actress is without a doubt one of the finest actresses in the country and that working with her was ‘amazing.’ He also expressed gratitude for her will26ingness to appear in the song.

He thought her to be a consummate professional and a ‘pleasant person to deal with.’ He continued by stating that the Aangan actress’s future is exceptionally bright.

On the work front, he will make his television debut opposite Hania Aamir and Kubra Khan in Sang-e-Mah, which he hinted at in the interview by announcing his upcoming television appearance.
