Abhishek Bachchan has provided an update on his health following a freak mishap on the set of his film in Chennai. He stated that he underwent surgery and has now returned to work.
Abhishek published an Instagram photo of himself wearing a cast and flashing a thumbs-up to the camera. The actor, Amitabh Bachchan’s son, is dressed casually in a blue sweatshirt and pants.
Abhishek Bachchan captioned the image, “Had a weird accident in Chennai last Wednesday on the set of my upcoming film.” My right hand was fractured. It required surgery to correct! Thus, a brief return to Mumbai. The surgery has been completed, and the wound has been patched and cast.”
The 45-year-old actor referenced his father’s famous remark ‘Mard ko dard nahi hota (men do not feel pain)’ before admitting that the injury did cause him some discomfort.
“I’m back in Chennai now, eager to continue my work. As the slogan goes, the show must continue! Furthermore, as my father stated… Mard ko dard nahin hota! To be fair, it did hurt a little. We appreciate everyone’s good wishes and get-well-soon messages,” Abhishek Bachchan stated.
Abhishek’s upcoming projects include the crime thriller ‘Bob Biswas’ and the drama ‘Dasvi’.
