‘Long live Hamas,’ Jewish couple targeted by pro-Palestinian demonstrators at a rally in New York

In front of a Jewish couple, two pro-Palestinian protestors can be seen in the video shouting “long live Hamas” over and over while hiding their faces.

Two pro-Palestinian demonstrators can be seen shouting “long live Hamas” at a Jewish couple in a widely shared video during demonstrations held in front of the New York Public Library on Thursday, December 21st.

To demand a truce, hundreds of pro-Palestinian demonstrators assembled. Meanwhile, a number of counter-demonstrators declared their allegiance to Israel. This took place in Manhattan’s Midtown. Face to face confrontations between the two factions occurred often.

Protesters on the pro-Israel side of the street carried placards that said, “No ceasefire, eliminate Hamas,” and waved the blue-and-white flag of the Jewish state.
