Pakistan is going to launch its very own original series on Netflix for the first time ever. Variety claims that the next program “Jo Bachay Hain Sang Samait Lo” would have an amazing cast, with important roles played by Mahira Khan, Fawad Khan, Sanam Saeed, and Ahad Raza Mir. With its all-star cast, this ground-breaking movie will be Netflix’s first attempt at producing material with a Pakistani subject, and it is sure to wow viewers everywhere.
“Jo Bachay Hain Sang Samait Lo” is based on the critically acclaimed 2013 Urdu novel of the same name by Farhat Ishtiaq. It tells the story of the remarkable journey of Sikandar, a brilliant Harvard law student whose life takes an unexpected turn and causes him to isolate himself emotionally from other people. He meets Liza, a talented artist with a vibrant background who is troubled by her past, when he is in Italy. Their chance encounter weaves their destinies together in a moving story of human connection.
With the charismatic Fawad Khan and Pakistani love Mahira Khan reunited following their record-breaking success in “The Legend of Maula Jatt,” Pakistan’s highest-grossing film to date, the cast reads like a who’s who of Pakistani entertainment. Sanam Saeed, who previously starred opposite Fawad in “Zindagi Gulzar Hai” and the forthcoming series “Barzakh,” and Ahad Raza Mir, who is well-known for his noteworthy roles in “Resident Evil” on Netflix and “World on Fire” Season 2 on the BBC, join the ensemble.
