In a shocking development, Congress minister Nawab Malik accused BJP leader Mohit Kamboj of orchestrating the arrest of Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan in connection with the Mumbai cruise drug bust case.
The Hindu’s NCP leader described the Aryan case as a “matter of kidnapping and ransom.” “Aryan Khan did not purchase the cruise party ticket,” Malik claimed during a press conference on Sunday.
“He was brought there by Pratik Gaba and Amir Furniturewala,” he added. “This is a situation involving kidnappings and ransom demands. Mohit Kamboj is Sameer Wankhede’s mastermind and partner in the ransom demand.”
Additionally, the Maharashtra minister claimed that Shah Rukh had been threatened from the start, adding that the Bollywood superstar has been asked to remain silent since his manager, Pooja Dadlani, was named in extortion allegations in the cruise drug burst case.
He pleaded with the actor to speak up. “Ransom is not a crime if your son is kidnapped,” he explained. Additionally, Malik asserted that Kamboj is friendly with NCB officer Sameer Wankhede. He added that he met the latter at a cemetery on the evening of October 7.
According to the Congress leader, Rishabh Sachdeva is Kamboj’s brother-in-law. “The entire (cruise drug bust) story hinges on the release of these three individuals, among them Rishabh Sachdeva.”
“I am not fighting the NCB or the BJP,” he added. “I am fighting for what is right. But, unfortunately, peddlers conduct business, while innocents are framed.”
The case of Aryan Khan
Earlier this month, drug enforcers raided a cruise ship off the coast of Mumbai and busted a party attended by Aryan and two others.
Initially, he was detained and later arrested by India’s National Crime Bureau for alleged possession of prohibited drugs and substance abuse aboard a cruise ship in Mumbai.
Aryan was arrested in connection with the seizure of 13 grams of cocaine, 5 grams of MD, 21 grams of charas, and 22 pills of MDMA.
He sobbed uncontrollably during his arrest interrogation. It was discovered during questioning that Aryan had been abusing drugs for nearly four years. NCB sources also revealed that he consumed drugs while in Dubai, the United Kingdom, and other countries.
After numerous bail rejections, the star child was finally reunited with his family on October 29. But did you know that Indian actor Juhi Chawla secured his release with an Rs100,000 surety bond?
