Shilpa Shetty, a Bollywood actress, just undercut her hair. While this may appear to be summer style, it turns out she wore it for a very other reason.
According to Pinkvilla, Shetty took a mannat [solemn vow] to cut a portion of her head if her husband Raj Kundra was granted bail in the alleged pornography case. However, soon after Kundra returned home, she maintained her promise and got an undercut.
Many assumed it was Shetty’s new summer appearance, but it turns out that her brave decision served an entirely different purpose. Naturally, the last two months have been tremendously difficult for the Bollywood actor, who frequently uses social media to offer supportive messages after her husband’s incarceration. After maintaining a low profile, Shetty also resumed work a few weeks after Raj was arrested in the pornographic film case.
Shetty shared a photo of her latest hairstyle on Instagram. “You can’t live each day without taking risks and stepping outside your comfort zone, whether it’s getting an undercut buzz cut (which took a lot of courage, I’ll admit) or trying out my new aerobic workout, the ‘Tribal Squats,'” the post said.
“It strengthens all lower-body muscles, shoulders, arm and leg coordination, speed and agility, and – most significantly – our brain and body,” she continued. “The program consists of four sets of 60 seconds each with a 30-second rest in between. So make a persistent effort to notice a change since, as they say, ‘No Guts, No Glory!’

Shetty maintained her promise and completed her mannat now that her husband Kundra is out on bail. The Kundra and Shetty families, who have endured a great deal, are currently healing from their ordeal.
Kundra’s arrest stunned everyone in the family. Indeed, it was a trying period for the Shetty and Kundra families. He was arrested on July 19 by the Mumbai Police for allegedly being involved in the production and distribution of pornographic content via an app called Hotshots.
According to the police investigation, he allegedly utilized his company’s Mumbai offices to run the day-to-day operations of the sleazy content scam and post it to the HotShots and Bollyfame applications for paid viewers. Meanwhile, his adoring wife, Shetty, stood firm throughout.
Previously, Shetty claimed that she was “too busy” to be aware of her husband Kundra’s pornographic applications or other activities. Kundra is currently embroiled in a custody battle concerning pornography.
