Regrettable turn of events during the PSL 9 match between Quetta Gladiators and Multan Sultans, the families of prominent players, including Mohammad Amir, Moin Khan, and Umar Amin, faced harassment as they were forcibly removed from their VIP seating box at Multan Cricket Stadium. The incident unfolded with DC Multan, Rizwan, allegedly mistreating and using inappropriate language against the families of Quetta Gladiators’ members.

Franchise management contended that the VIP box was designated as a district administration box, prompting the removal of the players’ families. Post-match, Quetta Gladiators’ players and management vehemently protested in front of PCB officials, denouncing the unacceptable behavior of DC Multan.

Quetta Gladiators have lodged an appeal with the Chief Minister of Punjab, also the Chairperson of PCB, and the government to address the intolerable conduct of DC Multan. Following PCB’s intervention, the affected families were relocated to alternative accommodations in vehicles, ensuring their safety and well-being amidst the unfortunate incident.
