The announcement came during a meeting of the National Committee, where members discussed various ideas and proposals for national-level activities to commemorate Jinnah’s life. The focus of the celebrations will be to reflect the values and principles on which Pakistan was founded, and to inspire unity, patriotism, and a sense of purpose among the nation’s citizens.
In addition to honoring Quaid-e-Azam, the committee also reviewed plans to celebrate the 150th birth anniversary of Allama Muhammad Iqbal, the great poet, philosopher, and thinker whose ideas significantly influenced Pakistan’s creation.
