Famous Singer Quratul Ain Baloch, popularly known as QB, was injured in a bear attack during her visit to the scenic Deosai National Park near Bara Pani on Thursday. The incident has sent shockwaves through her fans and the entertainment industry, as the singer is widely admired for her soulful voice and powerful performances.
According to officials from the Gilgit-Baltistan government, Baloch was attacked while spending time in the park, which is famous for its breathtaking landscapes, rare wildlife, and high-altitude beauty. She sustained injuries during the encounter but was quickly rescued by authorities present in the region. Emergency measures were taken, and she was immediately shifted to Skardu Hospital, where doctors confirmed she is receiving medical treatment. Sources from the hospital shared that her condition is stable and she is under close observation.

The news has sparked concern across the country, with fans expressing prayers and well-wishes for her swift recovery. Many have taken to social media to share their support, describing the incident as a reminder of the unpredictable nature of wildlife in natural reserves. Deosai, often referred to as the “Land of Giants,” is home to Himalayan brown bears, and encounters with humans, though rare, can be dangerous.
Faizullah Faraq, spokesperson for the Gilgit-Baltistan government, addressed the media and provided details of the rescue operation. He confirmed that officials acted without delay to ensure Baloch’s safety and to transport her to medical care as quickly as possible. He also emphasized that the government is committed to protecting both tourists and locals visiting the region. In light of the incident, new safety measures are being introduced to minimize risks.
One of the most immediate steps taken by the authorities is a complete ban on night camping in Deosai National Park. The government announced that no traveler or tourist will be allowed to camp overnight in the future, citing the need to prevent similar accidents. While camping has long been a popular activity among adventure seekers in Deosai, the new restriction highlights the delicate balance between human presence and wildlife habitats in such regions.
