Jaswinder Bhalla was a household name in Punjab and among Punjabi film audiences worldwide. His career spanned over three decades, during which he entertained millions with his impeccable comic timing, relatable humor, and unforgettable catchphrases. Bhalla started his acting career with the classic Dulha Bhatti and later worked in Jaspal Bhatti’s Hindi comedy Mahaul Theek Hai (1999), which gave him widespread recognition.
Over the years, Bhalla became a staple in Punjabi blockbusters, including Jatt and Juliet, Sardaar Ji, and the hugely popular Carry On Jatta franchise. His portrayal of Advocate Dhillon in the Carry On Jatta films remains one of his most iconic roles, earning him a permanent place in the hearts of fans.
