A well-known social media influencer and former model, Babra, popularly known as Bebo — has been arrested by Karachi’s South Darakhshan Police on charges of supplying drugs across upscale areas of the city.
According to police officials, Bebo was not just a rising internet celebrity but was allegedly leading a secret double life. Behind the glitz of her TikTok fame and glamorous modeling shoots, she was reportedly involved in distributing dangerous narcotics, including cocaine and crystal meth (commonly known as “ice”), to private parties and elite clients.
Bebo, a resident of Gulshan-e-Iqbal, first gained attention back in 2007 as a model before turning to TikTok, where she built a significant following. While her videos painted the picture of a carefree, modern young woman, investigators say she had a troubled personal history. Her parents separated during her teenage years, and after her mother remarried in 2017, Bebo allegedly faced regular conflict in her new home environment. These tensions eventually led her to shift to a rented apartment in the Muslim Commercial area, where she continued modeling and intensified her social media presence.

However, it was at high-profile parties in Defence and Clifton where Bebo reportedly first encountered Karachi’s underground drug scene. Police revealed that she initially became a user and later turned into a supplier, leveraging her popularity and social access to distribute drugs discreetly.
“During interrogation, Bebo confessed to using drugs and admitted her involvement in delivering narcotics to various clients, mostly during private gatherings,” a senior police official stated. “She even revealed that she had been arrested twice before and had been involved in theft-related incidents.”
Exclusive sources from City 21 report that the influencer maintained a polished public persona while running drug operations under the radar. Authorities believe she may be part of a wider network of individuals linked to the entertainment and influencer industry.
Following her arrest, law enforcement agencies have promised to tighten surveillance around high-society parties and monitor digital platforms for any suspicious activities involving social media influencers. “The investigation is ongoing, and further arrests are expected as we trace her contacts and connections,” police added.
