Patients’ Aid Foundation to Expand Women’s Healthcare in Pakistan
LIPTON Teas & Infusions, in collaboration with the Patients’ Aid Foundation at Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC), continues its mission to make maternal healthcare more accessible. Aiming to provide free quality childbirth facilities treatment to 10,000 underprivileged women, the partnership has already benefited approximately 5,665 women at the JPMC’s Women’s Wing in the past seven months through aid and life-saving medical equipment donated by Lipton.
To further strengthen this initiative, LIPTON contributed Rs. 5 million in 2025, building on its Rs. 10 million donation the previous year. This ongoing commitment ensures that thousands of women across Sindh and Balochistan continue to have access to critical, life-saving medical care, reinforcing the company’s commitment to improving maternal healthcare accessibility.
With a focus on enhancing surgical and maternity services, LIPTON has donated essential medical equipment, including an anesthesia machine, a diathermy machine, three suction machines, and two capnograph monitors. These contributions are enhancing the quality of medical procedures, ensuring safer deliveries, and playing a vital role in reducing maternal and infant mortality rates.
Mushtaq Chhapra, Chairman of the Patients’ Aid Foundation, praised the ongoing partnership, stating that strong collaborations drive meaningful impact, and with Lipton’s support, maternal healthcare is becoming more accessible. He emphasized that the initiative is saving lives and strengthening Pakistan’s public health system.

Despite healthcare being a fundamental right, millions of women in Pakistan still struggle to access basic maternal services. Lipton remains committed to bridging this gap, ensuring more mothers and newborns receive the care they need to survive and thrive.
