Kareena Kapoor, known for her illustrious career and high-profile marriage to Saif Ali Khan, reportedly follows Christianity and incorporates religious hymns into her children’s daily routine. This revelation was made by their former nanny, Lalita Dsilva, in an interview with Indian Media.
Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan, who tied the knot in 2012, have two sons: Taimur Ali Khan, born in 2016, and Jehangir Ali Khan, known as Jeh, born in 2021. Lalita Dsilva shared insights into the Pataudi family’s life, particularly highlighting the role of religion and positivity in the upbringing of the children.
“Kareena Kapoor follows Christianity,” Dsilva stated. “She would ask me to play hymns for Taimur and Jeh to maintain a positive environment. I used to play various hymns, including the Punjabi hymn Ik Onkar, which Kareena also liked.”
Dsilva emphasized the importance of a positive atmosphere for the children, noting Kareena’s belief in fostering such an environment from an early age. “Kareena understands the necessity of positivity around kids. It’s about making a choice, but starting with positive vibes helps inculcate those values in children naturally,” she said.
A recent discussion on Reddit, sparked by Dsilva’s comments, attracted numerous reactions. One user remarked, “I thought this was a well-known fact. I’ve seen Kareena, Karisma Kapoor, Malaika Arora, and Amrita Arora with their mothers at Mount Mary Church many times.” Another added, “The Arora sisters are also Christians. Lalita, who now works for actor Ram Charan and his wife Upasana’s daughter Klin Kaara, praised Kareena’s parenting skills. Speaking to Hindustan Times, she said, “Kareena is an amazing mother, very disciplined, and her kids reflect that. Saif is also very hands-on with his children.”
