Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, has been lauded as the “greatest asset” to the British royal family as she continues her recovery from cancer. GBN America host Nana Akua noted the significance of Kate being seen “out and about” with her family, interpreting it as a positive sign of her progress. However, Akua cautioned that this does not signal an imminent return to her public duties.
During a recent discussion, commentator Lizzie Cundy echoed Akua’s sentiments, expressing delight at the news of Kate’s appearances. “Globally, everyone is asking how Catherine is. Everyone loves her and is concerned for her well-being. So, seeing her out is wonderful news,” Cundy remarked. She extended her best wishes to the Princess, appreciating her decision to take the necessary time for a full recovery before resuming public service. “She knows the world is watching, and she needs to be completely well,” Cundy added. “It just shows how much she is loved worldwide. Everyone wants the best for her and eagerly anticipates her return.”
Akua emphasized Kate’s popularity among younger generations, sharing that even her daughter holds Kate in high regard. “When I mention Meghan Markle, my daughter rolls her eyes. But when I talk about Princess Catherine, she says, ‘Oh, we love Catherine, she’s amazing, she’s so cool.’ The younger generation truly admires her.”
Cundy concluded by reiterating Kate’s importance to the monarchy, calling her the “greatest asset” for its future. “We all wish her well. She is the Royal Family’s greatest asset. She is the jewel in the crown,” Cundy asserted.
