A strategic maneuver aimed at reconnecting with their audience, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have discreetly retreated and reclaimed their royal titles in a bold rebranding initiative. After championing Archwell for the past two years, the couple has opted to part ways with the brand and introduce a new website to engage with their supporters.

Their website, formerly known as Archwell, will now go by the name sussex.com, derived from the British town associated with their royal titles. Upon visiting the website, the official title proudly declares itself as the “Office of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle – Duke and Duchess of Sussex.” Despite stepping down as senior members of the royal family in 2020, both biographies continue to refer to their two children as “Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.”

Meghan, carrying the title of The Duchess of Sussex, shared in a letter that the rebranding signifies their commitment to sharing more personal updates with fans. She emphasized their enduring advocacy for women and girls, highlighting its consistent presence in their humanitarian and business pursuits.

Prince Harry, identified as The Duke of Sussex in the letter, echoed Meghan’s sentiment, emphasizing his lifelong dedication to causes that bring about lasting change. Notably, he mentioned the international event, INVICTUS GAMES FOUNDATION, celebrating resilience, community, and athleticism among wounded service personnel.

However, critics argue that Prince Harry’s bio omits any mention of his royal lineage and the United Kingdom. The statements released assert that by embracing “The Office of Prince Harry & Meghan, The Duke & Duchess of Sussex,” the couple aims to showcase their individual passions and endeavors, asserting their identities beyond traditional royal responsibilities.

Nevertheless, the news has not been well-received by netizens, with some expressing skepticism. One reader commented, “Prince Harry and Meghan’s biographies are immaculate! Come on.” Another critic suggested that the rebranding reflects the couple’s perceived failure in Hollywood and their return to leveraging their royal titles for financial gain, deeming it “pathetic” and reinforcing the call for the removal of their titles.
