a noteworthy revelation, the iPhone 15 Pro series is facing a significant setback in customer satisfaction, despite boasting several upgrades. The dissatisfaction among users has become evident through a recent survey comprising over 700,000 user-generated Google reviews.

Recent findings from PerfectRec, a data analytics firm, have brought to light a concerning trend surrounding Apple’s latest ‘Pro’ models. Specifically, the iPhone 15 Pro, the tech giant’s most recent addition to its lineup, has garnered the lowest customer satisfaction rating among all premium iPhone models released before it. The once-praised 5-star ratings have witnessed a substantial decline, plummeting to a mere 68% since October 2023.

PerfectRec’s comprehensive report highlights the alarming fact that the iPhone 15 Pro holds the record for the lowest customer satisfaction among premium iPhones, as indicated by their initial study in October 2023. The subsequent data reveals a notable drop in the proportion of customers awarding the iPhone 15 Pro 5-star ratings, falling from 72% to the current 68%.

Various grievances voiced by customers include perceived inadequacies in upgrades compared to previous models, subpar battery life, and the unwieldy giant camera island, making it challenging to keep the phone flat. Interestingly, the complaint about the lack of upgrades seems paradoxical, considering that the iPhone 15 Pro series introduced more enhancements compared to its predecessor, the iPhone 14 Pro.

The PerfectRec report adds another layer to the unfolding scenario, stating that the decline in customer satisfaction isn’t limited to the iPhone 15 Pro alone. In January, the percentage of purchasers leaving five-star reviews decreased for all iPhone models compared to December. Strikingly, the iPhone 15 Plus, typically regarded as the best-reviewed model of this generation, witnessed the largest month-to-month decrease. This development poses a significant challenge for Apple as it navigates the task of addressing customer concerns and restoring confidence in its latest iPhone offerings.
