
After spending five months in Pakistan, Anju Nasrullah, an Indian national who gained notoriety for her tale of love transcending national boundaries, has now returned home.
In recent months, Pakistan has witnessed a number of cross-border love tales as people from competing countries are thriving on social media. Anju, an Indian woman, was one of four foreign ladies who came to Pakistan in search of love and ended up being married to a capital resident.
Anju, an Indian lady in marriage, took the world by surprise when she went to Pakistan to wed the man she met on Facebook. For a while, the mother of two spoke with a man from Pakistan via WhatsApp and other websites.
Following her conversion to Islam and renaming herself Fatima, Anju spends months in Pakistan living with Nasrullah.
The woman has now returned home and is currently being questioned by Indian officials.
Anju expressed her happiness at being back home. She thanked Pakistanis in a video for their support from the beginning. “I received unwavering support and never felt lacking,” she remarked, expressing gratitude to Pakistanis for their exceptional treatment of her.
The woman was from the Rajasthan area of India’s Bhiwadi, where she resided with her spouse Arvind and their two kids.
