Today’s first meeting of the Committee for the Development and Management of Hazrat Bari Imam Shrine/Complex at Finance Division was presided over by Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar.
Raja Sarfraz Akram, Mr Gauhar Zahid Malik, Chairman CDA, Deputy Commissioner ICT, Mr Tariq Bajwa, Mr Hanif Abbasi, Ex-MNA, Gen. ® M. Afzal Janjua, Mr Tariq Mehmood Pasha, and others were present at the meeting.
The Committee debated and agreed to hold Hazrat Bari Imam R.A.’s Urs Mubarak on the 15th, 16th, and 17th of August 2023. On August 17, 2023, the Urs will end with Dua. The Urs Mubarak is being hosted this year after a 16-year hiatus, and the Committee has also agreed that going forward, the Urs Mubarak will continue to be an annual event on these dates
