In Ankara. Burak zdemir, a well-known Turkish chef also known as CZN Burak, has amassed millions of fans thanks to his endearing grin, but right now he’s making news for filing legal action against his own father over allegations of fraud and abuse.
The Turkish restaurateur made the drastic decision after running into problems when aiding earthquake victims and learning that his father had sold the rights to his name to others and that other individuals had built franchises of his restaurant without his permission.
He charged Hasan Ozdemir, his father, with millions of dollars’ worth of fraud.
Burak demanded that the father in this case pay $10 million in damages and accused him of embezzling money and obtaining loans in the chef’s name without telling the son.
The chef goes on to allege that his father used money obtained from other people to buy expensive vehicles and homes.
However, his father rejected all of the charges, claiming that he had made all of that money without intending to swindle Burak. The alleged offender insisted that his son’s financial support was utilised to advance his business.
In the meanwhile, the matter will be heard by a Turkiye court in September of this year. The chef explained that he had no locations in Istanbul in a statement on social media and advised people not to go to those restaurants.
As a result of starting a chain of restaurants, Czn Burak gained millions of internet fans and became known as Smiley Bae.
