**The Ghusl-e-Kaaba ceremony is held in Masjid al-Haram in Saudi Arabia on Muharram 15 (August 2), following the Fajr prayers. The governor of Makkah, Prince Khalid al-Faisal, is in charge of carrying out this ritual.

During the ceremony, Prince Khalid uses a unique concoction of rose water and Zamzam water to wash the interior of the Holy Kaaba. He takes part in Tawaaf, which is a crucial component of the sacred rite, after the Ghusl-e-Kaaba* .

The washing of the Kaaba is a custom that has existed since the time of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). According to legend, the Prophet used to clean the Kaaba twice a year, once in Muharram and once before the beginning of Ramadan.
