Abbas captioned a photo of herself with her elder sister, “Meri piyari baji is on [the] ventilator… Kindly pray for her recovery.” Immediately following, numerous fans of the Nand actor left well-wishes and brief prayers in the comments section. Ansari also shared a photo of her sister a few weeks ago, writing, “My darling sister Sumbul Shahid is currently battling COVID-19.” Kindly pray for her quick recovery. “Salamat rahain, Char Chand.”
Shahid is also well-known for hosting the show Golden Girls back in the day. Additionally, she is famous for the drama serial Dolly Ki Ayegi Baraat.
