According to Indian media, Diljaan, a young Indian singer, died in a road accident near Amritsar.
Diljaan, the first runner-up on the singing reality show Sur Kshetra in 2012, driving from Amritsar to Kartarpur when his car collided with a truck, killing him instantly.
Diljaan was traveling alone because he lives in Canada with his wife and children. The singer’s death has prompted police to open an investigation. Following the news of Diljaan’s death, several Punjabi musicians paid a heartfelt tribute to him. Meanwhile, Diljaan’s most recent social media post shows that the singer is looking forward to releasing his upcoming songs Tere Warge 2 and Hanju.
