
Nadia Jamil, an actress, recently made headlines for overcoming cancer. The Damsa actress is one of the finest of her generation, and her talent caught the attention of legendary Bollywood director Yash Chopra.
Nadia was initially offered Rani Mukherji’s role in Veer Zaara by the Chandni director.
Nadia revealed on Samina Peerzada’s show that she was in talks to star in a film with Yash Chopra but could not do so due to her responsibilities as a mother. However, the discussions continued until her son turned two months old.
Despite the role being pivotal and robust in the narrative, the Behadd star maintains her decision not to do the film. The protagonist is assisted by a Pakistani lawyer who helps him with his case. Although she could not secure the film, she developed a lifelong friendship with Yash Chopra and his family. She adores them.

She also mentioned that she could not work as much as she desired as an artist during her career due to her health issues, which included multiple diseases.
The film, released on Diwali 2004 and starred Shah Rukh Khan, Preity Zinta, and Rani Mukherjee, was a box office smash.
