Nida Dar shone as the show’s star, earning the Player of the Match award and a place in everyone’s hearts.
Pakistan won their opening match of the 2022 ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup by eight wickets over the West Indies in Hamilton, Ontario. Pakistani spinners contributed to the West Indies being restricted to 89/7 before the batters maintained their composure to win an eight-wicket victory.
Bismah Maroof, the captain, expressed her gratitude and singled out other players who excelled during the match, including Dar.
Dar referred to it as “one of the most memorable moments” of her professional career.
