Congratulations to Bakhtawar Bhutto-Zardari and her husband on the birth of a baby boy on Sunday. Bakhtawar is the daughter of Asif Zardari and the late Benazir Bhutto.
Bakhtawar, the eldest daughter of a previous prime minister and president, married Mahmood Choudhry, the son of a US-based businessman, earlier this year in February.
Their wedding ceremony was held in Karachi’s Bilawal House. Her wedding festivities began with a Mehfil-e-Milad on January 24. The 31-year-old married in a daytime ceremony, dazzling in a gold-speckled costume by Wardha Saleem. Two days before the nikah ceremony, Bilawal House hosted a beautiful mehndi ceremony where Bakhtawar received a stunning Ajrak henna artwork made to her hands.
Former President Zardari welcomed his eldest daughter Bakhtawar with a customary reception. A small number of visitors attended by routine operational protocols designed to prevent the transmission of the novel COVID-19 virus. Additionally, the lovely bride was dressed in a dark purple and green lehenga with an embellished top. The groom, on the other hand, donned a suit.
The ceremony was attended by close family members, party leaders, and prominent business figures. The guests were treated to a magnificent setup.
We have been blessed with a newborn boy.
Recently, the newlywed couple welcomed a baby boy. The kid was born on October 10, according to Bakhtawar’s official Twitter account. “We are overjoyed to announce the birth of our son,” Bakhtawar said.
Bilawal, the PPP chairman, and the new mother’s elder brother hailed his new uncle status in response to the news. “For the record, mamoo [uncle],” he wrote.
Aseefa Bhutto-Zardari, Bakhtawar’s youngest sister, also conveyed her gratitude via Twitter. “I am now a khala [aunt]!” She wrote, “Alhamdullilah!”
We, too, with the couple the very best of luck with the arrival of their happy and healthy newborn!
Bakhtawar is an ardent supporter of education. She earned a Master of Arts in English with honors from the University of Edinburgh. Additionally, she is an active faculty member at the Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology (SZABIST). Her efforts were instrumental in the founding of the Karachi Campus Stem Cell Research Laboratory.
While Bakhtawar has found love and welcomed motherhood, her elder brother and current Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chief, Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, appears to be still looking for his ideal lifemate.
