Chaudhry-The Martyr is a biopic on SSP Aslam Khan known among the terrorists as “Chaudhry”, a fearless Sindh Police Officer. In Karachi’s anti-violence movement, Chaudhry Aslam Khan is a well-known name. He was credited for ridding the city off all criminals which also led to his assassination in broad day light. A film based on his life stars Tariq Islam, Saleem Mairaj, Sana Fakhar, Nawal Saeed, Adnan Shah Tipu, and Yasir Hussain.
The release of the action-packed Pakistani film is just around the corner. Chaudhry-The Martyr is a film directed by Azeem Sajjad and Co-directed & Produced by Neha Laaj under the banner of Laaj Productions and HUM Films.

Neha disclosed to us in an exclusive interview that Chaudhry is based on the life of the renowned police officer SSP Chaudhry Aslam Khan, who was murdered by terrorists in 2014. While the original substance of the Aslam Khan’s life story has been preserved, the screenplay was written by Zeeshan Junaid and contained fictional aspects to broaden the film’s general appeal. Neha also remembered that the lovely Zara Abid(Late) was casted as the female lead but the film industry lost the gem due to an unforeseen incident.
The Sindh Police extended their full support and provided the film crew with their full logistical cooperation in an essential step. The film reportedly to avoid controversy, as the late Chaudhry Aslam Khan family has been brought on board and is seen fully supporting the movie during various TV show appearance. SSP Chaudhry Aslam’s real life son Ikrash Aslam will also be seen in the movie doing the cameo of young Chaudhry Aslam.
With Pakistani cinema’s recent string of blockbusters, the film business is a hive of activity, and every month sees the introduction of a promising new projects. Neha Laaj, who earlier found fame as an actor and model is doing her debut as a producer with a cause in mind.
The release date of Chaudhry – The Martyr has been moved to June 24th June 2022.
