Lahore: The Curtain raiser ceremony of the 4th Pakistan Marketing Day Summit and the first PMD Awards for Marketing Excellence 2026 was held at the Royal Palm Golf and Country Club Lahore during the “MAP Coffee Connection – Chapter 12” organized by Marketing Associates and Professionals of Pakistan.
The event was attended by business figures, marketing experts, university representatives, corporate institutions, media and people from different walks of life from across the country. On this occasion, the promotion of marketing in Pakistan and its role in national development was highlighted under the title
“Purposeful Marketing and Proactive Leadership”.
In his address, Lahore Chamber of Commerce President Faheem-ur-Rehman Segal said that Pakistan is a country rich in natural resources and talented manpower. If we use our resources properly, Pakistan can achieve a prominent position in the global market. The role of MAP Pakistan, a very dynamic, positive and influential organization, is commendable for achieving such big and important objectives. The celebration of Marketing Day in October and the announcement of Excellence Awards are also a commendable initiative. Which will give a vital impetus to purposeful marketing.
Tariq Ismat, Founder and President of MAP Pakistan, while addressing the event, said that marketing plays a key role in economic development, exports, investment, tourism, innovation and highlighting the positive image of Pakistan at the global level.
He said that October 14 will be celebrated as Pakistan Marketing Day every year, while the fourth Pakistan Marketing Day Summit 2026 will be held on the same day. In addition, the first PMD Awards for Marketing Excellence will be held on November 7, 2026, in which institutions and individuals who have shown outstanding performance in branding, digital marketing, innovation, leadership and marketing will be honored.
The organizing committee and jury were also introduced during the event, while various projects for sponsorship, strategic partnerships and collaboration between industry and academia were also announced.
