Bollywood actress Tanushree Dutta, who played a key role in India’s #MeToo movement, has once again spoken out — but this time, the issue is much closer to home.

In a heartbreaking video posted on her Instagram, Tanushree can be seen crying and explaining that she’s been harassed and mentally disturbed in her own house for the past several years. The video quickly went viral, leaving fans and fellow celebrities shocked and deeply concerned.

“I Don’t Feel Safe in My Own Home”

In the video, Tanushree says:

“I am being bothered in my own house. I have called the police, and they told me to come and file a complaint. Maybe I will go tomorrow — my health isn’t well.”

She explains that the people she hires to help with household chores — like maids and helpers — often turn out to be untrustworthy. She believes some of them have been “sent by others” to mess with her mentally and steal her things. As a result, Tanushree says she now does all the housework herself, because she can’t trust anyone.

Health Worsening Due to Stress

Tanushree also revealed that she has been suffering from chronic fatigue syndrome — a medical condition that causes extreme tiredness and makes it hard to carry out everyday tasks.

“My nature has changed. My house is in complete disarray. I can’t even take care of myself anymore,” she said tearfully.

She believes the stress of the situation is making her health even worse.

Strange Noises and Unanswered Complaints

In a second video, Tanushree shared that she often hears loud noises near her door and roof, including what sounds like small explosions or bangs. She claims this has been happening since 2020 and that she has complained to her building management multiple times, but no one has helped.

To cope with all the anxiety, Tanushree said she now listens to Hindu chants using headphones just to calm her mind.

“That’s the only way I can find peace now,” she said.

Planning to File a Police Report

Tanushree mentioned that she plans to visit the police station to file a formal complaint and share more details in the First Information Report (FIR). So far, there has been no official response from the Mumbai Police.

Her fans and followers are urging authorities to take her case seriously and ensure her safety and well-being.

A Voice That Once Sparked a Movement

Many people still remember how Tanushree Dutta bravely spoke out in 2018, accusing senior actor Nana Patekar of harassment on a movie set. Her voice helped start the #MeToo movement in India, giving strength to many others to come forward with their stories.

Now, as Tanushree faces struggles once again — this time in her personal space — many are hoping she receives the support and justice she needs.
