A dramatic escalation along the Line of Control (LoC), Pakistan has claimed a decisive military success against India, stating that the Indian Army raised a white flag at the Chora Complex after suffering severe losses. The Pakistan Army, backed by the Pakistan Air Force (PAF), claims to have neutralized multiple Indian military assets, including the destruction of five Indian Air Force fighter jets.
According to high-ranking Pakistani security officials, the recent hostilities began when Indian forces launched what was described as an unprovoked attack on both civilian and military targets inside Pakistani territory. In response, Pakistan mounted a powerful retaliatory campaign, resulting in what Islamabad is calling a significant tactical victory.
White Flag Raised at Chora Complex
One of the most symbolic moments in the conflict came when Indian forces reportedly hoisted a white flag — an international signal for ceasefire or surrender — at the Chora Complex, a critical military installation near the LoC. This gesture, according to Pakistan’s military sources, marked the first time in recent memory that Indian forces had publicly acknowledged a defeat in such a high-tension zone.
“This act is a clear indication of the success of our operations,” said a senior official in the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the Pakistan military.

Five Indian Fighter Jets Downed
While Indian authorities have admitted the loss of three fighter jets, Pakistan maintains that five aircraft were shot down in total. The downed aircraft reportedly include three French-made Rafale jets, one Russian MiG-29, and one SU-30 fighter. Additionally, a Heron surveillance drone was intercepted and destroyed as it allegedly violated Pakistani airspace in the Barnala sector.
“Our air defence systems were fully activated, and our pilots responded with remarkable precision and courage,” said a senior PAF official. “Every provocation was met with a befitting reply.”
Indian Brigade Headquarters Destroyed
Further bolstering Pakistan’s claims of military success, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif announced that the headquarters of India’s 12th Infantry Brigade — a key unit under the Indian Army’s 15th Corps — was destroyed in the retaliatory strikes. The 12th Brigade is considered a vital part of India’s forward-operating forces near the LoC.
“The Indian Army has faced a crushing response. Their aggression has been turned into defeat,” said Asif in a statement to international media.
Civilian Casualties and Missile Strikes
The conflict has also taken a tragic toll on civilians. In Bahawalpur, a missile strike reportedly hit a religious seminary, resulting in the death of a child and injuries to at least two others. Bahawal Victoria Hospital confirmed that 29 injured individuals were being treated, including six women and four children.
The ISPR confirmed that Indian forces had launched missiles at three locations within Pakistani territory. In retaliation, Pakistan fired back at multiple Indian targets, though the details of those strikes remain classified.
Strong Warning Issued to India
Following the escalations, ISPR Director General Major General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry issued a stern warning: “India’s temporary happiness will be turned into permanent sorrow if they continue with this reckless aggression.”
While tensions remain high, Pakistan’s government has reiterated that its actions were taken in self-defence and that its armed forces remain prepared to respond to any further provocations.
The situation along the LoC remains volatile, with both sides maintaining elevated alert levels. The international community has begun calling for de-escalation, fearing that continued military action could spiral into a broader regional conflict.
For now, Pakistan stands firm in its stance, claiming a historic military success and reiterating its commitment to protecting its sovereignty.
