Brad Pitt, amidst his ongoing legal battle with ex-wife Angelina Jolie, has expressed a desire to have more children, this time with his girlfriend, Ines de Ramon. Reports indicate that the 60-year-old actor is looking to expand his family despite the ongoing tensions and estrangement from his six children with Jolie.
Pitt, who shares six children with Jolie—Maddox (22), Pax (20), Zahara (19), Shiloh (18), and twins Knox and Vivienne (15)—has faced significant challenges in maintaining his relationships with them following a highly publicized and contentious divorce. However, sources close to the actor suggest that the possibility of having more kids is not off the table for him.
“Ines has been a real source of comfort to Brad during this challenging period,” an insider revealed to the Daily Mail. The source described Ines, a 34-year-old jewelry designer, as patient, easy-going, and possessing a great sense of humor. These qualities have reportedly helped Pitt during his tumultuous legal disputes with Jolie.
“Having more kids in his life is not out of the question,” the insider elaborated. “Ines is young, and Brad is 100% on board if she wants to have kids. He loves the idea of building a life with Ines, and nothing is off the table. Their relationship is smooth sailing and drama-free. He’s in it with Ines for the long run.”
Pitt is eager to make a fresh start and create new memories with Ines, particularly given his strained relationship with his existing children. The source mentioned that Pitt has even joked about doing the school run in his 70s, hoping he’ll still be seen as a heartthrob despite his age.
Notably, the ongoing tensions with his children were highlighted when Shiloh, his 18-year-old daughter, filed a request to legally drop “Pitt” from her name on her birthday. This move echoed sentiments of her older sister, Zahara, who introduced herself as Zahara Marley Jolie during her initiation into the Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority at Spelman College last year.
