Important dates for the admissions process for different merit-based (face-to-face) programs for the first phase of the fall 2023 semester have been released by Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU).
The deadline for new applicants to the university’s online BS, MBA, M.Sc. (Hons), MPhil, MS, and PhD programs is August 15. Prospective students who wish to apply for admission to these programs are invited to do so before this deadline.
The deadline for enrolling in the following semester for continuing students in these programs is August 22. For existing students to protect their academic advancement, early enrolling is crucial.
The institution will hold entrance exams and interviews from August 17 to 23 as part of the admissions process for MPhil, MS, and PhD programs. For choosing suitable applicants for these specialized programs, these examinations are essential.
Within two weeks following the conclusion of the interviews, the university hopes to have the merit lists of the chosen applicants finalized. On the university’s official website, these lists will be made public so that candidates may verify the status of their admission.
The application period for other programs, such as Matric, Intermediate, and certificate courses, will last through September 5, 2023. Students who are interested in these programs have till this time to apply and reserve their spots in the courses they choose.
