In Pakistan, the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will convene on Wednesday to determine the position of the Shawwal moon.

Saudi Arabia announced that EidulFitr would begin on Thursday (May 11) due to the absence of theShawwal moon in the kingdom.

As a result, Wednesday (May 12) will be the final and thirty-first day of Ramazan, while Thursday (May 13) will be the first day of EidulFitr, according to Khaleej Times.

The Shawwal crescent was also not sighted in the United Arab Emirates, which will observe the first day of Eid on May 13.

Meanwhile, in Pakistan, tomorrow (Wednesday), the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will meet to sight the Shawwal moon.

According to the Ruet application, Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry predicted that Eid would be celebrated on Friday (May 14).

He later explained in a tweet that the moon sighting committee would make the final determination.

According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), the chances of seeing the Shawwal moon on May 12 are slim to none, as Ramazan will almost certainly have 30 fasts and EidulFitr will almost certainly fall on May 14.

According to the Met Department, the Shawwal moon will be born on May 12 at 12:01 am Pakistan Standard Time, which means that there is little chance of seeing a new moon on Ramazan 29.

Additionally, it predicted that “on the day of the conference, the sky will remain clear in the majority of the world, but will be partly cloudy in some areas.”
