Youth Intellectual Movement (YIM), an organization working on UN Sustainable Development Goals and youth empowerment for more than a decade, organized 1st Youth Intellectual Awards 2021 at Lahore to appreciate the young Pakistanis for their remarkable social work. Out of 92 nominations across Pakistan, 25 were selected by the panel of national & international judges from Pakistan, USA, India & Maldives. 15 boys, 9 girls & 1 transgender received the awards representing different provinces & religions in the country.

Names of male awardees are Dr. Asif Nabi, M. Usama Tariq, Ahsan Kamray, Rehan Khan, M. Mohid Tariq, Moiz shaukat, Awais Bashir, Gurmeet Singh, Naseem Sadiq, Raja Walter, Waqar Barkat, Patras Yousaf, Imran Masih & Shahzad Lazar. Female awardees are Rahima Adnan, Fatima Anwar, Ayra Khan, Alina Azhar, Arooj Fatima, Ayesha Shaikh, Ruqiya Komal Agha, Muskan Simon & Sadia Arshad while Neeli Naz represented the transgender community.

This event was graced by Chairman Akhuwat Dr. Amjad Saqib, DG Rescue 1122 Mr. Shehryar, Member Interfaith Committee Mr. Badar Munir, and singer Imran Hashmi and other prominent personalities.

Chairman Akhuwat Dr. Amjad Saqib praised the efforts of YIM and accolades CEO YIM Dr. Mohsin Kamal for arranging this successful event in this hour of pandemic with strict SOPs. He wished him the best for future and offered him his full support. He also appreciated the winners on their success.

CEO YIM Dr. Mohsin Kamal spoke to the event & said that this is not only an award show but its a blend of Interfaith harmony celebrating and bringing together people from all religious & ethnic groups and celebrating their work for Pakistan. YIM believes that youth is our future and should be well equipped. Motive behind this event is to celebrate and appreciate the achievements of youth and their contributions towards the society.
